it's april favorites time!

I can't believe it's May already!  Time for April favorites -- a sampling of my favorite products of the past month.  I tried not to include anything from last month! Also, my favorite mascaras and hair products haven't changed, and I'm still using MAC's MSF Natural religiously (best face powder ever). Please let me know if there's ever a product I mention that you'd like a review on - I'd be happy to oblige! :)

Now for the favorites.... Enjoy!

NAILS

China Glaze For Audrey
-a gorgeous turquoise that's perfect for spring & summer

Revlon Tropical Temptation
-application with this one is NOT a dream, but I love this color anyways

SKIN

Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer w/SPF 30
-I've tried so many moisturizers, but Neutrogena is probably the best I've tried for oily skin.  It sinks right in, smells nice, and has loads of SPF.  Yay!

BODY

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Berry Smooch body drink lotion
-This was released around Valentine's Day, I think, and I wish I would've bought a larger size! Forget its name; it smells EXACTLY like an orange creamsicle, and the scent really lasts, too.  Love it!

Victoria's Secret Heavenly Enchanted fragrance mist
-This smells so amazing -- I don't really know how to describe it! One of the great things about this scent is that is transitions really well between seasons.  It's not too heavy for spring/summer, but not too light for fall/winter (obviously, since it was released during the winter holidays this past year!).  It will be re-released again probably around October/November this year if you missed out last time.

EYES

MAC Free to Be & Hey eyeshadows
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden (this was a sample)

  1. I have Perennial High Style and Rose Paris (and I love them too), and Genial and Obey have been on my mental wish list for a while now! Great post!

  4. Thanks for the comments, ladies! Tiffany, I think you should absolutely get Genial and Obey - they'd look great on you! :D You definitely need a gloss with Obey, but Perennial High Style looks fantastic over it (and pretty much anything else, actually...). Vivianna, I saw that you picked up Sheer Glow in your recent haul - can't wait to see how you like it! Sarah, I just realized that I didn't even mention the ULTIMATE extreme lash tip -- layering mascaras! My favorite combo is Lancome Hypnose Drama with a top coat of Givenchy Phenom'eneyes - it's a pricey combo, but a good one!

  6. Marie, it's not out anymore, unfortunately. There's a new one in stores right now, Heavenly Flowers, that's really nice and light for summer. Heavenly Enchanted comes out in late fall, I think. I want it to come back right now!! haha

  7. I'm wondering if that Neutrogena moisturizer would work on twice-your-age (almost) skin. I'm not thrilled with the Olay one I'm using and don't want to spend the money on the Estee Lauder one I love.

  8. I imagine it would. The claim is that it helps even your skin tone, but I'm not sure I buy that! I just like the texture and that it absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy. I especially like it right now because of the SPF30!
